Client Testimonials
Michelle Lockwood
Kjelshus Frame Design has been an absolute wonder to work with. Their work is superb and they offer the highest quality products and service! My very first order with them was very large and demanding, for an Art Festival, and I needed a LOT done in a short time. They pulled through, turned it around quickly and made me look really good! Since then each order has been perfect and completed in a timely fashion. The service is personal, they listen to their clients and take pride in their work. I highly recommend Kjelshus for all your framing needs!

I have been working with Kjelshus Frame Design for many years. I love that when I call the shop I am able to talk with someone who has been to my studio, or has personally built a frame for me. I appreciate the availablity of Kjelshus Frame Design. They fit into my schedule and lifestyle.I don't have to take time away from my clients to order a frame. I love the personal touch that you find in a family business (like so many of our photography businesses). I have gotten to know the family so well that I now include them in my peraonal parties and family events.

Minnesota Professional Photographers Association Fall Convention

1st November 2009 - Brooklyn Park
Each year, the MPPA brings in a variety of speakers as part of their fall event. The convention speakers were Scott Robert Lim and David and Ally McKay. These speakers have been nationally recognized for their artistic vision and shared some of what they have learned along the way to building successful studios. At this event, we were also excited to hear that the MPPA will be appearing in a number of different episodes of Showcase Minnesota. You can check out their first appearance here at Showcase Minnesota.
WPPI Road Trip

1st November 2009
We participated in the first ever WPPI road trip as a vendor at their Minneapolis "stop." WPPI is an international association of professional photographers who specialize in wedding and portrait photography. At this event we introduced a new product specially designed for photographers who make albums for their clients. We were blown away by the response to our new product! I also had the chance to meet Beth Forester, an excellent photographer and master marketing mind!
TCPPA October Meeting

1st October 2009
"The Seven Compositional Elements" This event put a focus on how to produce an image for print competition. Not having been formally trained in the visual arts, I actually learned quite a bit about what it takes for an image to be considered for photographic excellence. I was particularly interested in hearing about the "rule of thirds" and how it applies competition scoring. We want to wish everyone who participates in the November print competition the best of luck.
